Since 2006, the Biblical History Museum has been one of Georgia’s best kept secrets.  It is a living museum of life in the ancient world with special focus on daily life in ancient Israel.  Did you ever imagine sitting in an authentic goat-hair tent like the nomadic shepherds lived in for thousands of years?  The exhibit includes over 250 artifacts from the Israeli Antiquity Authority.  You’ll see an example of the kind of tomb like where Abraham and Jesus might have been buried. Also, learn about ancient meal customs, while having a Biblical meal with foods that were likely available in the ancient world.

From ancient history to American History… Our 32nd president, Franklin D. Roosevelt led the country through the Great Depression and WWII.  He was stricken with polio in 1921 and spent much of his adult life in a wheelchair.  FDR is the only president in our history to be elected four terms.  He enjoyed spending time in Warm Springs, GA at the “Little White House.”  While at Warm Springs, he established a foundation to help others suffering from polio and instituted the March of Dimes that eventually funded an effective polio vaccine.

From Biblical History to American History…
